Parco Di Cocco (previously the private park of an army barracks) is a beautiful park of pine trees populated by birds and squirrels, in the south side of Pescara (in Abruzzo - the "green" region of Europe) on the Adriatic sea, walking distance from a beautiful sandy beach, two hours drive from Rome, three from Bologna, and four from Bari.
