garajistanbulpro is the name of the production house of garajistanbul which opened its doors to public life in January 25, 2007 and became a meeting point for contemporary performing arts.
garajistanbulpro was founded in order to produce new, contemporary, creative works of good quality, to stand side by side with designers who never give up on challenging themselves professionally, who are thinkers, who search for the new, who keep forcing the boundaries of the creative process, to make visible the works of artists who remain on the periphery the popular mainstream culture, to encourage creative production, to build bridges between the ever-growing international network of the last 12 years of the 5th Sokak Theatre, the founding institution behind garajistanbul; and all the projects supported and hosted by garajistanbulpro, to provide opportunites for circulation on the international platform, to be introduced to new audiences whilst ensuring the continuing attendance of the present audience crowd by keeping its repertoire fresh with new work.
