BASE is Milan's hybrid center for culture and creativity. Its main objective is to renovate the relation between culture and economy, future and everyday, between democracy, well-being and knowledge economy, social innovation and development. It is not fortuitous that "base" means "foundation", it is the beginning of something new, but also the support of an existing project, what makes it solid. A base is a new beginning, a new language created from scratch. A dream and a substance altogether. BASE is the place where experience and experimentation combine, where culture is the value at the core of every decision-making process, the key to understand and interpret the world and its manifold evolutions. A place for work, fun, education, where the dialogue and interaction between different worlds become a catalyst for new discoveries and projects.
