The Stud, which has been around for almost 40 years, is one of the most successful gay establishments in town. The interior has an antiques-shop look. Music is a balanced mix of old and new, and nights vary from cabaret to oldies to disco-punk.
In September, Yugoslavian slo-mo savant will play San Francisco, LA (for Lovefingers' ESP Institute), Portland, Sustain-Release in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago (with Traxx and Justin Long)
They'll hit New York, DC, Boston, San Francisco and Los Angeles in January, going back-to-back each night. "All will be invited to let their bodies be free and feel love energy in specially curated safer spaces."
The Block9 DJ will hit Queen! at smartbar in Chicago this Sunday, August 5th, followed by stops at Honey Soundsystem in San Francisco, The Carry Nation in New York and the Honcho Campout festival.
