A slick venue in the Chaoyang District run by the crew behind the now-defunct White Rabbit, Haze is one of Beijing's most famous clubs. It has two floors: a small cafe and seating area with a DJ booth on the ground level, and a main dance floor underground (down an exceptionally steep spiral staircase). The décor is mostly blonde wood and concrete, with a sunken dance floor in front of the booth and a rectangular bar just behind it. Musically, Haze is one of the city's key spots for house and techno, with frequent guest appearances from European artists and frequent sets from resident Donald Summers, a Swedish techno DJ based in Beijing.
