Converted from a former theatre and with design inspired by the Hollywood homes of the 1930s and 1940s, South Beach's SET Miami features a mix of crystal, high-end fabrics, baby croc and leather, a glass fireplace, vacuum-compressed elevators, eclectic Tinsel town-era artifacts and ebony Macassar. This unique blend of decor elements is a modern South Beach nod to old Hollywood glamour. The two-floor club features a Funktion One soundsystem for the international techno, house and trance DJs it books for its parties, and has, in addition to the usual array of nightclub lighting, a number of screens and projectors for video. SET is open regularly from Thursday to Sunday every week.
