The property was established by the city’s first Anglo-American settler Augustus O. Lang and has been operating as an after-hours nightclub selling alcohol for over 70 years on record. The area was more than likely a “rum-runners” destination point during the prohibition-era so its safe to say “The Speakeasy Lounge” lives up to it’s name.
