Located in New York City's Long Island City just east of Manhattan, Water Taxi was an artificial "beach" club on the waterfront (complete with sand brought in from New Jersey), offering clubbers views of the Midtown skyline. Water Taxi Beach Club was shut down in 2011 to make way for construction development.
