Royal Festival Hall is at the heart of the Southbank Centre complex. Opened in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain, the Grade I listed Hall is one of the world’s leading performance venues. The auditorium has a fixed raked seating capacity of 2500. As well as the auditorium, there is The Clore Ballroom, the Poetry Library, Spirit Level, (including Blue and White Rooms) Southbank Centre Shop, Riverside Terrace Cafe, Central Bar and Skylon restauran.
Umfang, Shyboi, Peach & Kamixlo are booked for a Discwoman showcase at Southbank's Concrete Lanes series on August 30th, while Holden & The Animal Spirits play in early October.
