- A huge multi purpose venue that took 7 years to complete. A flagship for the Merivale group The Ivy had it's soft launch in December 2007 and moved into full operation early in 2008. Restaurants, bars, cocktail lounges and live music will bring a whole new world of social experiences to the middle of the city. The Ivy includes: Mad Cow: A New York-style grill with the Peter Doyle designed menu The Kitchen: Informal eats: tasty burgers and salads The Patio: Outdoor space centred around the Japanese Maple and a spectacular spiral staircase Ivy Bar: The hub: an urban style bar with views over The Patio Ivy Lounge: Cocktail heaven: Mikey Enright’s most creative cocktail menu ever Teppanyaki: A modern twist on traditional teppanyaki with a menu created by Shaun Presland The Den: An intimate space with warm furnishings and live musicians.
