Acerca de

  • $131 million and 30 years later, the Perez Art Museum of Miami (PAMM) is a far cry from what originally opened as the Center of the Fine Arts in 1983. Designed by renowned Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron (whose repertoire include Park Avenue Armory in NYC, Beijing National Museum for the Olympics in China, and Tate Modern in London), PAMM has quickly become the leading cultural institution of Miami, garnering international acclaim for its rotating exhibits, installations, and eclectic programing. It has been home to Ai Weiwei’s “According to What?” exhibit in the past and more recently Nari Ward’s “Sun Splashed.” In short, the PAMM is safe space amidst the hustle and bustle of a concrete jungle boasting 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor program capacity including sprawling galleries, shaded outdoor verandas, a waterfront restaurant and bar, and an education center that can handily accommodate various events both intimate and populous.
