  • 30/70 are a Melbourne Hip-Hop and R&B family delivering signature hypnotic grooves drenched in love, weed, meditation and spirituality.
O.G. beat disciples Ziggy Z, Hazy Hicks, Chaser and Thhomas keep it tight in the rhythm section while Allysha Joy stays liquid smooth and grooves over jazz, hip-hop live beats like we on some Roy Ayers tip, unfolding, creating, evolving……dank – wave…… 30/70 released their first LP ‘Cold Radish Coma’ through Moontown Records in December 2015 to a sell out show at the Gasometer Hotel and the record has been in high demand ever since, selling out on first pressings in under a month. The band is receiving a lot of attention overseas and particularly in Europe thanks to Rhythm Section as well as the recent release of ‘The Strut’ film clip through Stamp The Wax. 30/70 have been supported by bands such as Clever Austin and Swooping Duck of Hiatus Kaiyote, Remi, GL, Sex on Toast and Fortunes as well as having supported Sampa the Great, Vulture Street Tape Gang, Ngaiire, Koi Child, Shaolin Afronaughts and many more talented bands. Not only performing as 30/70, the band operates a collective incorporating side projects built around the core five musicians. 30/70 Collective contains acts such as A Brother Scratch, Allysha Joy Trio, Thhomas, Leroy James & The NJR, Positive Tip DJs and more. 30/70 is the soundtrack to your nights of desire, an honest expression of music and love.
