- Know as a vinyl assassin like no other, 4AM NYC has taken care of musical communities in New York and worldwide for over a decade, both on and off the dance floor...They have traveled far n wide off the strength of their exceptional djing; spinning at legendary parties in Detroit for Movement, and headlining club nights in London, Berlin, Lisbon, Munich and beyond. All the while holding down residencies at home with their own party series Spiritual Mental Physical, at beloved NYC night clubs such as Good Room, Le Bain, and Public Records. As a dj they provide nights of music unbound by genre, dedicated to the dance floor; ruled by a furious and vivid emotional spectrum. Storytelling takes precedence in their practice and the tale will be told by any means necessary - whether it’s via heart-wrenching soul, finger-snapping house, euphoric and demonic techno, or unclassifiable future classics straight out of left-field - their delivery is always uncompromising and energizing, passionate and sincere. As a booker they currently take care of all talent at Eli Escobar's new spot, Gabriela, and prior to that they were known as head of the house at Jupiter Disco. From these positions they have mentored, educated, nurtured and championed talent from every level of the scene(s)- from fresh-faced newcomers lookin for their first break, to legendary icons who crave intimate connection with their dancers. Moving forward, 2024 sees 4AM NYC releasing original productions with record label Air Texture, and continuing to take care of their people through incomparable nights and days of music. /// Accept no Imitations \\\ Booking inquiries: 4amnycmusic at gmail dot com SPIRITUAL MENTAL PHYSICAL was founded and established by 4AM NYC in 2017 as an event series dedicated to serving the three critical aspects of a pivotal nightlife experience: Music to move you, a Message to soothe you, and Memories to treasure. It is multi-format, multi-genre, and high quality audio focussed. It exists in service to The Guest: an open invitation to come find connection and fun - to lose oneself in a safe haven of low light and multi-genre soundscapes provided by true underground artists. It brings together talent from around the world who would not normally mix, but are perfectly suited to play alongside one another on just the right night, in just the right space. You will hear DJs and performers throw down with abandon. You will see Legends and Locals tackle unlikely time slots with relish. Everyone is given their proper time and space. Worlds collide. It has been hosted as a monthly function at various venues across NYC, notably- Le Bain, Jupiter Disco, Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Public Records.
