- 4Cantons is a Valencian producer based in Berlin. Making sounds at the intersection of electro, ebm and idm.4Cantons is a Valencian producer based in Berlin. His latest EP, Principi d'incertesa, was released on vinyl by the Dutch label Gooiland / Enfant Terrible and presented at the last Ombra festival through a live he prepared for the occasion. His sound is at the intersection of electro, techno, ebm and idm. It is precisely this border in which 4Cantons feels most comfortable and is interested in researching. All the music he produces is meant to be performed live and encourage dancing. Principi d'incertesa EP could be framed within what is known as dark electro but with a desire to overcome its margins and presenting techno, ebm, acid and idm influences. A mix with which he achieves a sound with a beat oriented to the dance floor but maintaining a kind of relaxed hypnotic air. The EP also aims to be a tribute to rave and club culture. Thus, each song refers to spaces, moments or characters from different cities linked to this subculture and with which 4Cantons has had a certain emotional bond and many experiences. In the past he was also part of other projects such as Butza or Metzina, with which he participated with a live performance at the Mira! Festival. Currently, he also has another joint project called Melting Dogmas with which he just released an EP in vinyl format this October 2022.
