Biografía

  • With a keen ear and a back catalogue of his own musical production, Pakkadej journeyed from the steamy streets of Chiang Mai Thailand to pursue his love of electronic music. Pakkadej spent ten years spinning tunes in London and is now based in Berlin.
Pakkadej first encountered electronic music as a youth in Thailand, sparking a life-long love affair. Chasing the sound across the seas, Pakkadej moved to London, UK, and after spending most of his days holed up with nothing but his turntables and record box for company, he got his first big break at Brick Lane’s Exit Bar and shortly after this he was made resident DJ at TSQ Bar Putney. From 2005 to 2014 Pakkadej entertained the masses at TSQ every weekend, but he continued to play on the London DJ circuit. In 2008 Pakkadej became a resident at 54 Bar Commercial Street playing the finest minimal in his weekly Sunday slot, while also making regular appearances across the club scene at venues such as Egg London, Rhythm Factory, Dropeast, Apples & Pears, and Inigo Bar. In the summer of 2012 Pakkadej rocked the main stage at the massive Festa della Musica in Milan, Italy. In 2014 Pakkadej followed his passion to Berlin, home of techno, and became a regular face behind the decks at renowned musical hotspot Heinz Schüftan in Neukölln, appearing frequently on line ups for the Chapeau Klack Friday parties. Since then Pakkadej has joined line ups for the Berlin chapter of the underground Toronto party crew, Box Of Kittens, and for the record label Pfand at their legendary annual Amsterdam off-ADE boat parties. In Berlin Pakkadej can be found bringing his sound to discerning Berlin clubbers in the party capital of the world at establishments such as Club de Visionare, Griessmühle, Nirgendwo, Nachbeben, Minimal Bar, and artist residence Greenhouse. Pakkadej's productions have been released on Astelagüel, Opensource Records and Cinetique Recordings.
