Now Thessaloniki might not be the first place that comes to mind when talking about electronic music, but during the 90's and 00's names like Juan Atkins, Sven Vath, Jeff Mills, and Ricardo Villalobos visited the city regularly inspiring a whole new generation with the sounds of house & techno. Back in 2004 Alex decided to move to London, where he quickly got involved in the scene collecting records, djing regularly and producing music. Few years later in 2009, his strong releases in Trelik, Tuning Spork, Contexterrior and All Inn enabled him to establish himself as one of the promising upcoming names of his generation. This strong line of productions & remixes got him spinning regularly in London's very own Fabric as well as Ibiza's Underground, Amnesia and DC10 as well as Trouw (Amsterdam) , Arma 17 (Moscow) and Watergate (Berlin) and Club Der Visionaere (Berlin) to name a few. Alex’s DJ style hints towards an obsessive attitude to crate digging – playing out an intriguing blend of old and modern tracks. His sound comes driving, energetic, with strong deep basslines and loose rhythms, keeping the emphasis on the groove.
