- ALEX MILLET Dj since 1992, Producer since 2002.ALEX MILLET Dj since 1992, Producer since 2002. Alessio Miglietta was born in Salento (Lecce - ITALY). He lives in Lecce and starts there his dj-ing career at private parties when he was 15. Little Alex, the so called in the past ALESSIO DJ, plays Italo House toghether with House Music anthems (Robin S “Show Me Love”, Nitecrawlers “Push the Feeling On”, Hardrive “Deep Inside”...); he loves House but he loves Acid Jazz too! (Incognito, Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquay). In 1995 He made his first radio show on air on the frequencies of a small radio station (Radio In - Lecce and Salento area) where he plays finest US and UK Garage inspired by a trip in the city of London. In 1996 He works at Radio Città Uno. In the same year, he plays his music at the legendary ALEX CLUB (80’s-90’s famous disco club in Lecce) and he is invited as a guest in many one night parties. In 1997 at Radio Rama Network (on air in south Italy area) in the famous radioshow “Joy Sound”. In 1994 Alex discovers music production, thanks to his home computer “Amiga 500” and immediatly after, he mades some experiments by using Cubase VST on Windows Pc. After the experimental teenager era in 1998, he mades an unreleased e.p. that some djs had really played in clubs! In 1999 Alex started to propose demo CDs to Italian labels. After a series of “Is not for us” and “Is out of our standards”, in 2002 ALEX MILLET becames a producer. First official release: AM & DL “The Tribal Sound of South of Italy” (produced by ALEX MILLET & DARIO LOTTI) on Voice Of The Underground Records. The track is mostly appreciate in Europe and U.S.A. and it appears in several playlists and licensed for LATIN ELECTRICO Vol.2 miami vibes compilation (Strichcode - Switzerland). Alex Millet becames know as a Latin and Deep House Dj and sometimes his tracks are signed as LATIN CONCEPTS (featuring GABRY). The name of Alex Millet appears in credits of important records like MIXMASTER & STONEBRIDGE ft ISABEL FRUCTUOSO (singer of Mambana and Afromedusa) “Nothing Without Me”, FUNKYJUNCTION vs YELLO! “Lost Again” and his track “Pra Rolar a Vida” (cover by Colorado) in PRINCE 2006 Compilation - novella 2000 - molto rec. In 2011 ALEX MILLET feat. SU SU BOBIEN "REACH" (Underground Collective) was in top 10 on Traxsource.com!!! Since 1992 he has played his music in many clubs like: Moi Moi (resident in 2003 - LE), Zuma lounge (LE), Oblò (TA), Gilda Art Privee (BA), Acqua In (BR), Kepos (LE), Finis Terrae/Planet (LE), IT (LE), Out Line (LE), Castello Carlo V (LE), Metropolis (LE), Beachbar Torregrande (OR), Menhir (OR), Bliss (Vlore-AL), Summer Depo (Vlore-AL). He is also guest in many radioshow in the world.
