- Born and raised in Cali, Colombia. Ica is the new project of Amadeus Joseph. It embodies soulful and groove-laden techno, deeply influenced by tribal instruments and rhythms from his Colombian rootsIca, the latest incarnation of Erich Joseph, embodies soulful and groove-laden techno, deeply influenced by tribal instruments and rhythms from his Colombian roots. This project marks a significant evolution in his sound, with a primary focus on facilitating ecstatic dance experiences. It sees individual and collective movement as a spiritual practice, guiding us toward elevated states of consciousness. Erich previously collaborated on the industrial Techno project "Amadeus Joseph" and managed his own imprint called "Inherencia." Under "Inherencia," he organized events at renowned venues such as About:Blank, Aeden, and Mensch Meier. He also performed at various international locations, including France, Lebanon, and Colombia, sharing the stage with prominent artists like Tommy Four Seven, Setaoc Mass, Gotshell, Anne Artikel, Rove Ranger, Jeroen Search, Common Poetry, and many more.
