    There are DJs who spin and play music, and then there are those who live the music. Andres Amadeus pours his soul onto the decks. To witness Andres on the turn tables is to embark on a musical journey of rich, sexy deep house grooves, afro rhythms and eclectic minimal techno ; you will encounter a musician unafraid of taking risks who brings innovation and soul to his sets igniting the dance floor. Born in Caracas, Venezuela but based out of Miami, Andres’ broad range and knowledge of House and his versatile sound have made him a chameleon on the decks, spinning him into the forefront of the local music scene as well as creating waves abroad. Andres is not only one of the most sought-after DJs in Miami, but is also honing his production skills and studio work with plans to release an EP in 2009. Additionally, Andres is a regular guest DJ and has performed at high profile venues like Mynt Lounge, Set, Mokai, Nikki Beach, Grass Lounge, and Aero Bar among many others. Locally, he is one of the few DJs to hold several residencies. His efforts as the music director and resident DJ at Badrutts Place (where he is currently working on a compilation release) positioned the venue as a not to miss nightlife destination in Miami. He has also held a three year weekly residency at the famed Segafredo Lounge on Lincoln Road and a two year weekly residency at the landmark Delano Hotel. He is also the Founder and Resident DJ of SOULTECH at Skybar at the Shore Club hotel, which has hosted the likes of , H.O.S.H. from Diynamic, Luca Bacchetti from Ovum and Wagon Repair, Matthias Tanzmann and Luna City Express from Moon Harbour and Poker Flat, Philip Bader from Get Physical, and GummiHz and Ralf Kollmann from Mobilee records in Berlin. In 2008, Andres joined the biggest names in the industry when participating in the Winter Music Conference spinning at the Demon Days event at the Delano Hotel with Carl Craig, Roland Appel, and Life Project and also hosted and opened for Marcus Worgull for the WMC 2008 event at Badrutts Place. He also opened the Winter Music Conference festivities in 2009 with Martin Buttrich and Paco Osuna. Andres Amadeus steady rise to the top of his chosen industry is no accident or strike of luck. His musical talents expand beyond the decks: he plays several instruments including the tenor and alto saxophone, the clarinet, and classical guitar and is a trained operatic vocalist. His passion and vast knowledge for music has helped him carve a place as an artist and Innovator in a scene that is craving originality and progress.
