Biografía
- Andres Gatica has been quietly playing a key role in the Guatemalan dance music scene. As a founder of Cube Culture, he promises to be one of the country's soon-to-be known cadre of young producers and DJs.Born from Guatemala, with influences from dubstep and drum and bass, Andres Gatica becomes part of the movement and the techno scene in Guatemala since 7 years ago. In the Guatemalan scene is currently one of the young promises of a new techno movement looking back to the roots of the pure music mixed with the technology. Since 2008 began to participate in events with several local DJs including Casta who was in charge of bringing the country to international artists like Dubfire, dustin zahn, Satoshi Tomiie and Xpansul among others. In late 2009 founded together with Casta, CUBEREC, the first online electronic music record label in Guatemala, Andres then takes its own way and with his friend and business partner Jose Pretz with whom he shares many belives, style and see the music and together Pitchware founded that besides being a recruitment agency acts as a record label artists and a space of expression for several local residences which has the participation of national and foreign artists. Andres now has several releases online and some waiting to go on sale at music labels as Freshport (Hungary), grumble (Argentina), iNOS music (USA), Burnzzz Rec (Switzerland), Cuberec (GUA) plus the releases on his label Rec Pitchware formed with Jose Pretz.
