- "I am what i play" says Michael Keller, whose artist name is Andre.Soulmate. He grew up in Western Germany´s quiet city called Solingen. His first footsteps and experience with music he made in his home town. His career as musician begun when he.."I am what i play" says Michael Keller, whose artist name is Andre.Soulmate. He grew up in Western Germany´s quiet city called Solingen. His first footsteps and experience with music he made in his home town. His career as musician begun when he was 6 years old, when he developed kind of feeling for rhythm through playing drums. Not beeing happy with just having controll over rhythm, he started to play organ and piano and interest in playing instruments grew in general. He felt more independent by learning more than just one instrument. For a long time he experienced with rock sounds, break beat sounds, classical and jazz sounds, but he prefered always extraordinary sounds. As he played drums in several bands and concerts , he never gave up to search for truth, or deeper background of musicial origin. He was slowly getting part of his totally new live section. At first the single called "The Force" under pseudonym name "Push Push" (Kittball Records) was published in 2007. It followed the Single"Clinique" and a few remixes for Juliet Sikora, Fuzzy Hair, Tube&Berger´s Mexican Dog feat.Africa Islam. On Charity Compilation record calling"It began Africa" he is not just one of the artists, he is further as well remixer of the published single "Kings of Kigali" by Juliet Sikora from that compilation. Later, in 2009 he published with famous DJ Marcel Woyt from Düsseldorf "A struttin with some Barbecue" and "Big Nick" under the lable "pl4stik", which succeeded top of selling and even DJ charts. Since end of 2009 he is on a kind of studying trip and called his project finally"Andre.Soulmate. This Project with intention to give his music a new defintion, has got it´s roots in his changed perception, he declared in an interview. Finally you can listen to that mentioned change on Kittball Release "With a little help from my friends" with Juliet Sikora and Sarp Yilmas from Istanbul, who is going to be published in spanish lable"minibus" Re-Release in 2011. That 2011 is the beginning of Andre.Soulmate
