- Ânhém is an electronic music project by Fabio Sarcinella, dj, producer and sound engineer from Bari, Italy.Fabio Sarcinella (b. 1985) was born and grew up in Bari, Italy. He developed a special love for music at a very young age, began deejaying in the late 2005. His journey through the music started from black sounds, embracing soul, funk, hip hop and reggae as well. He spent a year of his life in Valencia, where he used to spin the decks under the name of Riot Selecta in historics underground spots of the Valencian Community. Even though he defined himself a hip hop head, simultaneously, he became involved in the underground party scene, where he discovered his love for techno music. At first it was just a way to have fun with his friends, then it became his true passion. So, Fabio decided to follow his new inspiration and spent some time in Berlin and London where he studied and became embedded in the local electronic scene. He felt it was his time to come out so he decided to move to Barcelona. While living in Spain he attended the SAE School. It was during his stay in Catalonia that he gave birth to the techno side project called Ânhém. When he came back to Italy, he built a Project studio into his crib in Valle d'Itria, in the neighbors of Ostuni, called ThrowEasy Studio. Ânhém's vision of sound, aims to put you in a trance with his bold percussions which slide on the rotating drums along with tension in all the melodic elements, often arpeggiated, with acid subgrooves. The whole ensemble has a hot and chewy bass line to die for. With his first EP 'Pivot' (Dear Deer Records), Ânhém debuted officially in October 2018.
