- Anna Gram is a DJ, producer and dance-floor devotee based in Glasgow. Weaving her magic across genres, with no two sets ever sounding the same, her love of uplifting and melodic music is always at the forefront of her selections. From italo, trance and breaks, to synth-pop, hardcore, and techno, Anna is a DJ who is unafraid to take risks and her performances are always centred on joy, humour, and the connective energy of the club. Over a career spanning two decades, Anna has played alongside some of the scene's biggest names including Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Bicep, Hammer, Cormac, The Blessed Madonna, Erol Alkan, and Perel. She is a regular guest on Glasgow's Clyde Built Radio, and Radio Buena Vida. Anna’s passion for music and the underground scene led her to dream of forging her own DJ career. In 2001 she started learning to DJ by mixing her trance, hard house and breaks records with a friend’s techno, DnB and hardcore collection, which right away began to shape her as a versatile selector with a flair for fusing different genres. She started playing at nights across the south-coast of England, most notably the infamous Portsmouth based night 'Punchfunk' where she became a regular guest. Upon moving to Glasgow, Anna swiftly imprinted herself on the city's vibrant electronic music scene, playing both high-profile venues and legendary after-hours parties. In 2016 a meeting of musical minds occurred when Anna met Bonzai Bonner, the creator of Shoot Your Shot, who promptly secured her as a permanent SYS resident. Being a part of SYS, which has become an integral part of Scotland's LGBTQIA+ clubbing community, has been incredibly important to Anna, allowing her creative musical freedom in a unique and special space. Anna and Bonzai later formed LEZZER QUEST, going on to be regular guests at many of Scotland's most revered venues, earning them a spot on The List's Hot 100, and a residency at La Cheetah. In 2020 Anna began producing her own music which is heavily influenced by her love of beautiful melodies, nature and the cosmos. Her dynamic productions reflect the diversity and breadth of her music taste, and have received multiple plays on Jaguar's BBC Radio 1 Introducing Dance, and BBC Introducing Scotland. Her debut EP ‘Celestial Objects’ was released on Remmah, the new label established by Hammer, and gained early support from Bicep, Jennifer Cardini, Tim Sweeney (BIS), Optimo, Midland and Job Jobse . Anna has contributed mixes to the Feel My Bicep, Permanent Vacation and Nocturne series, and supported Bicep on their recent tour. She has a new EP being released on Permanent Vacation in 2022, and upcoming remixes for Benjamin Fröhlich, and Aroha.̸Celestial Objects EP - Remmah As I Drift Away EP - Permanent Vacation
