- Another Pixel started DJing in 1996 and is today a DJ member of the Phonocrew (Phonographe Corp). Far from conventional rules and linear energy, his MIXES sets translate a « Jazz » phylosophy of Techno Soul. They like to surprise, make rise, come down..Another Pixel received its first musical uppercut by receiving straight ahead in eardrums the notes of Tangerine Dream "Rubycon". After a childhood listening to the Krautrock, psychey and cosmic records collection of his father, he discovered the underground House and Techno of Chicago and Detroit on M40 radio in 1992, thanks to DJ Sonic. An inexhaustible digging of the origins (Funk, Jazz, Disco, Hip Hop, Synth Wave etc.) of these musics started and naturally never stopped. Since the purchase of its vinyl decks in 1996 and his first mixtapes on K7, he didn’t stop leaving his search of unpublished nonconformist musical horizons and sharing, with the dancers, this exploration marked with soul and sung by machines. He was also quickly eager to make discover, beyond the Dee Jaying, the values and the stories of these underground musics. He then knocked "azerty" for articles, or took the microphone, his records and his analog machines, for conferences. After actions of musical broadcasting within the collectives Stimuli and then Inner Corner, he is today a DJ member of the Phonocrew (Phonographe Corp). Far from conventional rules and linear energy, his MIXES sets translate a « Jazz » phylosophy of Techno Soul. They like to surprise, make rise, come down, rise… at the instigation of funky and ardend rhythmics crossing cosmic basslines and ecstatic arpeggios. To express even more his physical relationship with music, he sometimes add beatboxes and analog synthesizers to records, completely piloted LIVE "by hand" and with hardware sequencers.
