- Durban based DJ/ProducerOK! SO WHO’S ARGENTO DUST? Composed and mastered in the Durban’s underground house music scene and recognized as the country’s most underrated house producer and DJ, Argento Dust has been gradually on the rise and has materialiased his ambition to become one of Africa’s greates. His work, which is of high-esteemed stature has resulted in him being featured by artists such as Black Coffee, DJ Shimza to name a few. Having played and performed alongside many pretigous artists and at various platforms, this pioneer appears to be certain, and has no intentions of deviating from his momentum of being Africa’s next big artists. Argento Dusts’ love to make and play music was provoked back in 2010 when he was part of a music collective known as The House Junkies. In 2014, Argento Dust collaborated with DJ Shimza on a track titled Congo Congo which released in DJ Shimza’s album titled ‘One Man Show’. It was this track that broughrt upon international eyes on the Argento Dust brand. Of lately. To celebrate the 25th edition of Sónar, Barcelona’s festival of advanced music and digital art, South African DJ, Black Coffee presents a mixtape album of club ready sounds, showcasing the present moment in global electronic music.
