    Purchasing his first set of decks in 2003, Spencer started spinning at numerous parties in his home town of Perth ( Aus ) before breaking in to the club scene in London in late 2007. February 2008 saw Spencer join forces with Jaymin 'Van' Doe and Nick 'Mids' Chapman to form Dim Sum. Their rocking 'House Party' style soon attracted a bit of interest. Guest's who have joined the Dim Sum Crew behind the decks include: 'The Drum Club', 'Pulp Sessions Crew', 'Aquasky', 'The Bodysnatchers', Tom Real v's The Rogue Element', 'The Groove Diggerz', 'Future Funk Squad', 'The Loose Cannons', 'James Harcourt', 'Qumulus', 'Micah Black', '2 Fat DJs' and 'The Loose Screws', with support from 'Ragga Twins', 'MC Frilla' and 'MC Lady Free' to name a few With his musical influences including-Jazz, Indie, Industrial, Drum & Bass, Breaks and Tech Funk- Spencer is focused on delivering funky energetic music with a solid edge. Blurring the lines between genres and with a passion for finding and playing music that gets people moving, he strives to inject excitement into the events he plays at. Through out '08 - along side their residency at the Horse & Groom - Spencer played guest slots at a number of club nights including 'Jambasha', 'Platform 12', 'Passenger Records Boat Party' and 'Spinout Records'. Playing under the moniker ‘Banksmann’, Spencer is aiming to capitalize on a great start to his DJing career. With his ongoing Dim Sum duties and recently joining the 'LOT49' events promotion team its another busy year ahead for '09. His latest project 'Tailspin' Sunday Session looking to take off this summer. He also has planned upcoming guest appearances with 'Beatsuite', ‘Bloom’ and 'Deem It'
