- Plastic Love began in the summer of 2010 through collaboration between friends Bas Elgharib and Jimmy Maheras. Based in Los Angeles and taking creative inspiration from both East and West coast roots, Plastic Love brings you the finest in disco, house..Bas discovered his love for DJing in 1999 and relocated to LA in 2005, hooking up with the Culprit crew and Droog shortly after. Since, Bas has helped launched the Culprit label in 2008 and has been a resident on the decks for the infamous Culprit Sessions atop the The Standard and in various Hollywood hot spots. Together Bas and Jimmy have been able to express their unique sound with residencies in some of LA’s most iconic clubs (including Avalon, The Standard, The Vanguard, and Basic). The duo also showcases an eclectic mix of local and global artists through a series of weekly radio shows and podcasts.
