- Beta (alias Béla Csillag) had first glimpsed the sunlight in October ’75. From then on music had accompanied him through all his childhood, as his father had renown of being a keen bakelite collector. Following the music and visual experiences gathe..Beta (alias Béla Csillag) had first glimpsed the sunlight in October ’75. From then on music had accompanied him through all his childhood, as his father had renown of being a keen bakelite collector. Following the music and visual experiences gathered at the DMC Hungary contest in ’92, in January ’93 he had established the band MCG Studio together with two other friends (Cuki and Nuon). Their music sytle was hip-hop, mostly with hardcore rap favourites. After 1 year of music-technical studies and diskcollection they have won the ’93 DMC Hungary contest semi-final, which has resulted in setting up a Budapest residence in the Brooklyn club. By the end of ’94 the electric music has penetrated into the music market and reached MCG too, so after the house bases put down in Stella Garden, in ’96 they could already get on stage at the E-play club. Beta has received invitation to the BPM and other popular clubs (Dark Side, Flört, Korona-Kecel, Club Speed, etc…)as well. After this period there was silence around them for several years, but in the summer of 2002 Beta found himself behind the audio-mixer again – this time in solo. The music style of course has remained the house, it has only changed a bit………… In 2003 together with André he has established the band A.B. Solute. The 2 years of common work has resulted among others in playing at the I Love Deep, Debut and Flört parties and the memorable stage performance at the Glu-Glu festival. In 2004 together with Marvin and Erka he starts their own clubnight called United Colors of House (UCH) in the two-weekly show at the Jail House club. In the very same year he enters working relationship and friendship with Naga, out of which emerges the House 2 House (H2H) clubnight housed by the Mono Club. From 2005 on Beta is member of the Ablak A Dubra (AAD) Wednesday clubnights, where at present Beta is together with Naga resident of the parties. At the AAD clubnights several international guest performers have been present already – some names without listing them all: Dominik Eulberg, Wighnomy Brothers, Tiefschwarz, Habersham, etc...) and Beta himself was invited as guest to many places too. His taste for music has always been driven by the house style. He has a show on radio „Tilos” every second Wednesday between 20:00-22:00 hours.
