- Joseph Jarie-Khachan aka BEYROUTH is a talented French-Lebanese DJ living in NYC. He began his journey into the electronic music scene when he first landed in NYC from Paris. That same night he ended up at TWILO where he heard Sasha and Digweed for the..Joseph Jarie-Khachan aka BEYROUTH is a talented French-Lebanese DJ living in NYC. He began his journey into the electronic music scene when he first landed in NYC from Paris. That same night he ended up at TWILO where he heard Sasha and Digweed for the first time in 2000 and was hooked ever since. After that night he bought his first set of Technics and instantly knew this was his calling. He first started playing at local lounges in 2001 from Orchard Bar, Opium Den, and Bar B to the Frying Pan. His true love for electronic music has driven him to recently focus more on his mixing, djing and producing his own tracks. He is also Co-founder of Static Sound Sessions, which promotes electronic dance music events and is a creative source uniting artists and musicians. DI.FM has recently been showcasing 2 hour sets by BEYROUTH on their Exposure NYC radio show and has invited him back since. So, stay tuned to hear more by BEYROUTH.
