- Dutch producer Boeboe hit the scene in 2012 with a debut ep (Act Stupid/Drop) on Japanese Sabacan Records and a handful of free downloads through Soundcloud. That was enough to garner DJ-support from the likes of: Daedelus, Boemklatsch, FS Green, Full Crate and Guerilla Speakerz. Popular streaming service 22Tracks asked him to be part of their first ever compilation ‘22Beats’ after already supporting most of his tracks. He ended his ‘freshman year’ with a gig at one of The Netherlands’ most iconic venues (Paradiso) during one of the worlds biggest showcase festivals: Amsterdam Dance Event. After performing remix duties for a slew of artists, dropping some heavily distributed bootlegs and landing a publishing deal 2013 saw the release of his lengthier second ep on Saturate Records. Getting online support from XLR8R and Magnetic Mag (amongst many others) in the first week, this release solidified Boeboe’s entrance into the bass-heavy realm of the electronic music world. His career is moving ahead at the same speed that it took off with; his next release will be on Basserk Records and is set to be released during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event.
