- Bolus is a 10-year veteran DJ and maven of the electronic dance music scene. Over the years he has been significantly involved within many facets of the industry in Europe and North America.Bolus is a 10-year veteran DJ and maven of the electronic dance music scene. Being of Lebanese and German descent and having traveled throughout Europe, North America, and South America, his multicultural background is apparent in his musical selection. Over the years Bolus has been significantly involved within many facets of the industry in Europe and North America. Since 2000 he has traveled extensively between the U.S., Ibiza, Spain; and London, England to follow his love for all things house and techno. He DJed and promoted various underground parties in London and spent over five seasons on the infamous island of Ibiza promoting, DJing, and networking within the industry. Included in his endeavors are such clubs as Space, Pacha, and Privilege. Bolus has continued to pursue his musical ambitions here in the United States. While living in Louisville, KY he produced and DJed the eccentric "Rehab" parties and accrued a spot on the AERO DJ roster of the well respected indie record label, Racecar Productions. Shortly after moving to Cleveland, OH he joined the infamous DJ collective and production company known as Tek Know? Productions. Under their umbrella he has DJed alongside such talent as Richie Hawtin, Dan Curtin, Barem, Ambivalent, and the Detroit Techno Militia. Bolus currently resides in Boston, MA. Bolus’ sound is curiously eclectic and tastefully spans dance music genres. Staying true to the spirit of Balearic beat, his style ranges from deep house to straight techno. It is described by many as hypnotically percussive with a heavy focus on rhythmic bass lines and tribal elements.
