- International Breakbeat DJ From Manchester UK. Signed to V.I.M Records/ DJ/Producer/Radio DJ/ BREAKS 'N' BASS & Redemption co Founder,BREAKSJUNKY (V.I.M. RECORDS, NSB RADIO, BREAKS 'N' BASS) When Manchester's Breaksjunky first stepped up to the decks in 2002 he had a simple ambition, To bring big, fat, dirty bass to the masses!! Since those early days he has only gone on from strength to strength with a string of Stella performances supporting the likes of: Grandmaster Flash, Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors, The Freestylers, Dub Pistols, Cut La Roc, Elite Force, Far Too Loud, Electrixx, Hedflux, 808 State, Slyde, Gella, Gaudi, Rack N Ruin, Hong Kong Ping Pong, Mafia Kiss, The Hustle, Dub Mafia Ft Buggsy, Slamboree, Monk3ylogic, Unconscious Mind(s), Krossbow, Bad Tango, Key Lo & Sicknote, Justin Robertson, Backdraft, Aut0b0ts, Leuce Rhythms, Se7en Deadly Breaks, Kickflip, Lowdown DJs & Herbie Saccani to name a few. As well as playing along side some of the dons of the Electronic Dance scene at Festivals like Boomtown Fair, Ravenstonedale Festival and being honoured with opening the amazing, 'Fortress' stage at The Beat-Herder Festival, he has also performed at some of the UK's biggest nights, with stand out sets at: Lowdown & Dirty (Breakspoll Award Winner), Naughty Panda, Dreamscape, Hardcore Til I Die, Beaverfest, Illuminaughty, BOSH!, Tough Breaks, God Sound System, Mad Hatters Sound System, Sideshow Kuts, Subsound, NowThen Leeds, BPM 2011, Fubar, Bitz N Pieces, Eargasm, Bang-On, Hotchpotch, We Are Breaks & Egg. Most recently Breaksjunky has started to infect Europe & Asia performing in Copenhagen in Denmark, Bangkok & Phuket in Thailand and has more International bookings in the pipeline, he's all about spreading the gospel of Breaks. In 2011 he found himself on the awards stage gaining Runner up in The Gemini Freestyle DJ Competition @ BPM. Using this as a platform he continued to smash his way from night to night and has fast become one of the most exciting and respected DJs on the Breaks scene, leading him to be nominated for Best Breakthrough DJ @ Breakspoll International Breakbeat Awards 2013.
