Biografía

  • Disc Jock, producer and drummer. Dance floor demolition specialist. Connoisseur/purveyor of World Class Boogie and Fine Funk. Vinyl historian. Innovator. General enthusiast. Blossoming yogi, hopeless romantic fool. Diagnosed, crazed yet benevolent inso..
Brenden Wesley has been refining the arts of Disco for years in the fine city of Boston. An avid collector, Editor & club DJ, Wesley's contribution to the scene has been influential. His Party A:kult was responsible for single-handedly introducing the city to New Yorks finest producers and deejays of a Disco persuasion. At the time, there was no other party of that nature. Brennan Green, Roy Dank, Nick Chacona, Lee Douglas, Jacques Renault, Marcos Cabral, and then unknown Holy Ghost! all got to play in the sweaty basement of the Good Life. Since then, the party has been a sort of legend. Only a few remember with clarity what exactly went down. Since then, Brenden has been busy in the Studio Crafting his art. 100's of compositions started but never finished. In a world where producers release tracks at lightning speed, Brenden has been known to walk the path less travelled. It's not easy being a perfectionist. Specially for the fans waiting eagerly to hear one more track. That said it seems like there will be tracks coming up soon, tracks ready for club use only featuring vocalists of good caliber and collaborations with other well established peers. On the Club front, Mr. Wesley carries the torch for two parties. Gallery - A discocentric affair, and Social Studies with long collaborator Alfredo Rico-Dimas, a party which has been over the last two years picking up where A:Kult left. Disco, House & Techno for those who really care.
