DJ, musician and producer. Martin was always extremely attracted by the electronic music. On high school, he used to listen to Radio Ragtime, the local best-music-oriented radio, particularly enjoying the sessions called Crystal House and BPM, presenting new techno and house releases. He started to attend the U-club’s Kick against the machine parties, where the sound of techno has completely got him. Greatly influenced by his beloved brother Michal (Pussy Kontrol) and DJ Milosh, Martin has started dj-ing in 2000 and participated in the creation of Leporelo Crew in 2001. Since that time, he spinned at many parties and Leporelo café&bar sessions – gigs in Czech clubs (Fabric, Perpetuum), U-club/Subclub, Boomerang party, Spojka, and other sites all over Slovakia. It was his honour to spin accompanying guys like Adam Marshall, Jeff Milligan, Takaaki Itoh, Andy Vaz, Daniel Fritschi, DJs from Leporelo crew, and others... In his DJ case and among his favourite producers we can find names like Deadbeat, Geoff White, Sutekh, Kit Clayton, Jeff Samuel, Johan Skugge, Maurizio, Monolake, Gez Farley, Akufen, Swayzak, Stewart Walker, Mikkel Metal and others. Martin’s favourite labels are Basic Channel, Background, Force Inc., Cynosure, Perlon, Trapez, Onitor, Spectral Sound, Chain Reaction, Studio 1, Tuning Spork, Revolver, Apnea, Ghostly International, and others. He likes hitting the floor by mixing pure minimal tracks along with the tuneful ones. Currently, Martin also plays in the band called Absurd Stereo. In the beginning, he was trying to bring some electronic elements into the sound of the band, using the old MC-303 groove machine. Then, he started to fill up the sound with the chords, so typical for his current minimal production. In the present, he plays mostly the piano /synths as well as the bass lines, what is a clear example of his groove-based orientation. Under the alias Radioamateur, he produces minimal house music using the computer and his Yamaha groove box as well. He has also produced several hip-hop tracks for a project called Betonove Delo. Occasionally, he spins their tracks at their concerts too.
