And he was not for jokes. Music lover since always, he got passionate by the DJing profession looking at other DJs mixing. He starts to observe others, mainly DJ Pippi, who used to play in Pachá Club, in Ibiza, just like David Morales, Deep Dish and Silvio Calmon. He faced the turntables alone, and alone he learned how to mix, what would be impossible without natural talent. Since then, he is known as an excellent House and Tech House DJ, playing in wonderful parties with crowded dance floors. Beyond Clube BASE, DJ Buga worked as a resident DJ in Anzu, Chaos, Disco and La Isla club, in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, and also in the best clubs in the world, like Pachà, Sirena, Florestta, Giv, Warung, Na Sala, Lique, D-Edge, Euro, Museum, Morocco, REC, House Garden, KM7, Royal, Vive La Vie, Lotus and Phoenix . He also got the opportunity to show his sets at indoor and street festivals, like Skol Beats, Parada da Paz (Sao Paulo's Love Parade), Electronic Carnival in Salvador (Red Bull's electric truck, with Olodum and Ilê aiê), Houseship, House Resorts, Jet Set, B-Live, Sunset, Araxá Weekend, Federal Weekend, Winter Gramado, Escarpas, Patrão, Cool, Taikô's New Years Eve and Ministry Of Sound. Places and parties that demands DJs who knows how to warm 'till burn the dance floors. And Buga knows it very well. With your career catching fire, the talent of this 32 years old DJ, who wins the Philips Express prize of Best House music DJ (2000) and the Cool Awards prize (2004), ran around the world. Buga has played at Argentina, Italy and Uruguay, sharing the turntables with some top DJs, like Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez, Steve Angello, Phonique, Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, Mark Knight, Pete Heller and Paul Van Dyk. This experience is for few and these moments has been in Buga's history, like a guarantee stamp of his work. His fame also guaranteed some excellent partnerships with Gui Pimentel, remixes for Jota Quest, Rita Lee and some of his tracks are on CD and many compilations were signed by him. Nowadays, playing his sets at Pachà, Sirena, Disco, Euro and Giv clubs, his majors influences are Eric Prydz, Mark Knight, Nic Fanciulli and Dubfire, and the music still being his great passion.
