- Cameo Blush is the project of London-based producer John Dunk, producing experimental dance music that draws on a mix of UK sounds and beyond.The producer combines distant elements of the dance music sphere, all the while retaining a signature sound and style of production full of unexpected twists and turns. Recently named one of Mixmag’s Top 25 Artists to Watch, Cameo Blush has landed his next release on Future Classic, with the five-track ‘Ultimate Grey’ EP due for release on 22nd September 2023, featuring collaborations with yunè pinku and Pretty Girl as his first foray into working with vocalists and a sidestep outside of conventional club structures. Cameo Blush is quickly becoming renowned for his euphoric, rave-ready productions, including 2022’s standout EP ‘Silkworm’ via Ross From Friends’ label Scarlet Tiger, the title track selected by Mary Anne Hobbs as her Near Future Track on BBC 6 Music. Alongside a string of mixes - including for Dummy and the Feel My Bicep mixtape series - the DJ/producer has taken his Live show to revered clubs such as Corsica Studios, Phonox and e1. Other previous releases include EPs on Seb Wildblood’s all my thoughts and Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance, as well as remixes for Prospa and Aleksandir.
