- DJ, Producer, and Radio Show Host, CAMZ will surely mesmerize your ears and soul with her eclectic blends of rhythms while taking you on a seamless adventure through sounds.Born in Brazil, and based in London, Camila Soares, A.K.A CAMZ, has always been enthralled in the arts and music, from playing instruments, singing, dancing, all the way through to theatre, she was born to perform! Camila’s interest in music was fuelled further by a teenage aunt who introduced her to dance music back in the 90’s, and an obsession with vinyl ensued. Records such as The Bucketheads (Kenny Dope) - The Bomb become the 7-year-old’s favourite jams and sowed the seeds for her future as a DJ. Skip forward a few years and CAMZ is fully immersed in the rave scene, picking up inspiration from different genres, crowds and countries. Her love for travel has seen CAMZ living in LA, Sydney, and currently London where she’s founded 7 Times Digital. Her work has allowed CAMZ to evolve with the biggest DJs and labels in the Electronic Music scene. Nowadays, you can find her at the hottest international parties, venues, and festivals bringing the best in Latin infused House, Urban, Breakbeats and everything in between. CAMZ’s latest releases Medo Deemen with V.A.M.O and SAUDADE out on Nervous was handpicked and played by Jaguar and Jeremiah Asiamah on BBC Radio 1. Her Nervous Records release also garnered support from Black Coffee, Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber, Blondish, Oscar G, and many more, reaching #5 on Beatport and #6 on Traxsource. After playing several of the top clubs in the world such as E1 London, D EDGE, Ministry Of Sound, and sharing lineups with the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Ida Engberg, Sama Abdulhadi, Hector Couto, Pablo Fiero, Anabel England and more, CAMZ is set to have a huge year in 2023 with her forthcoming EP RESPEITA AS MINA getting released on Jamie Jones’ HOTTRAX this Summer.
