- Caytas & Patz are two cousins from Stockholm, Sweden. Sharing the same interests when it comes to music as well as being related made it natural for the duo to start working together some years ago.Caytas & Patz are two cousins from Stockholm, Sweden. Sharing the same interests when it comes to music as well as being related made it natural for the duo to start working together some years ago. Since then they have managed to release their work on countless renowned record labels, often hidden under various aliases. The Caytas & Patz sound could be described as ever changing and the duo as heavily versatile. Their range for influences as well as execution has always been wide. Not being fans of categorizing their work, Caytas & Patz leave it to the listener. Generally speaking their productions could be branded as everything from straighter Techno to lenient and mellow Deep-House. The most important thing for the duo has always been to experiment and to try new things, and that can be found in their productions as well as in their live performances. With that said, the target remains to always make their work suited for the best possible outcome on the dance floor. After working under different names for years, the duo was ready to shift more focus towards their own personal interest, Caytas & Patz. The duo kick started their re-launch by joining the Cocoon family with the release of ‘Deep Blue Sea’ in the middle of 2011. Their work on Cocoon Recordings, as well as a hand full of others releases during this short period of time, rapidly made Caytas & Patz gain support from some the biggest names in the industry, such as: Sven Väth, Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli and Joel Mull. Caytas & Patz are continuing their never ending development, and you can always be sure to expect something new and fresh from the duo in the future. Next up is their ‘Are You Afraid’ EP on Adam Beyer’s imprint Truesoul, to be released in the end of January 2012
