In a world now plagued with sync'd computer Dj's, political promoters, and way too many self proclaimed producers, Chris Mackay just wants to write good music and maybe, just maybe get a..This isn't another third person biography babbling about flawless mixing skills or how musically inclined he is because he was conceived in a bathroom at a disco (although that might have helped). This is simply an invitation to learn about a guy who loves his music enough to commit his life to it. He's lived the archetype: carrying other Dj's record bags, interning in studios, studying the dynamics of club music, “paying dues”... Mackay has been part of the Miami club scene in one form or another since he was 15. Fascinated with South Beach nightlife along with acquiring too many Dj "friends", it was just a matter of time until he got bitten by the mysteriously named "house bug". 4/4 beats and swinging bass lines was his calling, and it has ever since been his unconditional passion and his divine curse. Dedication to finding quality toons, endless studio sessions and his ability to cast his charming wit into his live sets are the only reasons Chris Mackay has grinded and galvanized his name into what’s left of the underground house scene. He relishes the opportunity to showcase you the sound he has struggled so meticulously to achieve both through his groove driven originals or deep dubby sets.
