Just some words: He started his alter ego with some 80ies-influenced dance-bootlegs (e.g. M83, Arcarde Fire, Feist) and was overwhelmed wit..It’s a hard to classify Christian Strobes music, he’s a little bit like a chameleon. A hardworking chameleon! Just some words: He started his alter ego with some 80ies-influenced dance-bootlegs (e.g. M83, Arcarde Fire, Feist) and was overwhelmed with love from blogs, artists and music lover. Then it was time for some original music stuff: The debut EP ‘Midnight Call’ (certainly released on his own label Globelle) reached worldwide airplay and was even perceived by the A&R from EMI. The Major label asked for a Katy Perry remix. Why not? Followed by some EPs/Singles/Albums and more reworks (supported by tastemakers like Tensnake, Tiga, Aeroplane, The Magician, Dubfire, John Digweed, etc…) his musical style changed increasingly: From Retro-Synth-Wave-80ies-Indie-Dance to deep bass-driven oldschool piano house. Vocal house? Yes, indeed! No need to say that he although produced a full Shoegaze-Wall-Of-Sound-Indie-Album.
