- Coen released their debut single ‘Ululu’ on Idris Elba’s 7Wallace in 2016. This was followed up in 2017 by ‘Yellah’ which became a staple in sets by everyone from Dixon and Solomun to The Blessed Madonna.Coen’s music combines intricately woven and expertly recorded percussion with energetic beats and lashings of bass. The sound reflects a fascination with live drums and percussion from throughout the world, fused with a club-focussed sensibility designed to make bodies move. Based for many years in Manchester and now London, Coen is the enigmatic producer behind 2017’s ‘Yellah’.
