Merging two decades of classical training on the violin with the tools of modern technology, this artist influences the mind and body through a refreshing soundscape, ranging from warm connotations of dancefloor driven house music, to sonic experiments in ambient and minimal grooves. Crowd Controlol’s first ever vinyl release “Science Ficiton” on Still Play Records reached #1 worldwide on Deejay.de in Decemeber 2018, the most popular online vinyl store for underground music. The multi-genre hybrid EP featured Minimal, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno. His digital productions and remixes have been coninuously well received, with releases on global labels like Innocent Music, Baile Musik, Draft, Patent Skillz, SK Supreme Records, Ritmik Records, Beatdown Music, and Low Groove Records. Crowd Controlol left an early mark on the city of Miami during his debut residency in 2012-13 at the bimonthly party known as One Night in Miami, which hosted afterhours sunrise sets on The Terrace at Club Space. Known for dark, groovy, and provocative DJ sets, he helped inspire a younger generation of underground music advocates to appreciate the more intricate and sophisticated elements of electronic music. His sets created a different appreciation for four-on-the-floor rhythm amongst his friends, naturally encouraging peers to steer away from what they heard on the radio, and appreciate innovative music of the future. Beginning travels to Ibiza, Spain in the summer of 2013 and joining forces with Richie Hawtin and the ENTER. team in Public Relations, Anthony continued to develop his sound as Crowd Controlol while maintaining a forward thinking approach to artistry. Working a total of 3 years with ENTER on the island, his working relationship with Hawtin evolved beyond Ibiza, resulting in an invitation to be part of the CNTRL 2.0 tour in 2015, an educational initiative which sprung throughout college campuses in North America with artists like Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Matador, Victor Calderone, and more. Upon forging valuable relationships and discovering a world of new music, this experience has become an integral part of his development as an artist. More recently, Crowd Controlol has showcased his sound in Ljubljana, London, Ibiza, Playa del Carmen, Madrid, Ibiza, and New York City with regular appearances in Miami and around Florida. He’s shared some of the largest stages in dance music over his 10 year career with many of the most important artists in electronic music like Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, Umek, Matthias Tanzmann, Chus & Ceballos, Riva Starr, Nathan Barato, and Carl Cox, performing at the world renowned Space Ibiza in its final season, as well as a regular at Burning Man in Black Rock City.
