- Experimental, nonsense, music junkie, hardware hacker, nightlife lover.. DaDa Attack is a multidisciplinary artist, music producer and maker who transforms his experiences into free art and explores different techniques in his creation process.The project created by Saulo Pais uses music, video, electronics and artistic installations, conducting audiovisual and musical experiments in a detached and independent way, thus presenting a new way not only to produce but to feel music. Using analog instruments, drum machines, synthesizers and even circuit-bending modified toys, his sound palette has no limits or even rules. The São Paulo’s artist plurality, who also gives workshops and lectures about this subject, shines through his art, making it alive and original. •••••••••••••••••••••••••• Mit DADA ATTACK aka Saulo Pais geht die brasilianische Herbstoffensive bei KOMPAKT in die nächste Runde! Saulo ist kolportierterweise so etwas wie der brasilianische Aphex Twin. Nun ja, weniger musikalisch betrachtet, als seine unorthodoxe technische Herangehensweise betreffend. Auch er findet grosse Lust darin, Synthesizer und Drummachines aufzuschrauben und mit dem Lötkolben zu bearbeiten. Das ist für Saulo Pais selbstverständlicher Teil des Sounddesignes. Überhaupt, Design ist für ihn eine interdisziplinäre Grösse, an der er sich auch als Architekt, Maler und Filmemacher abarbeitet. >Clearly imply< ist ein ultra dynamischer Technotrack mit kleinen (unterstellten) Verneigungen in Richtung Dave Clarks RED Serie, allerdings ohne dessen Dampfhammer Beat - statt dessen bleibt Dada Attack immer schön locker. Gui Boratto stellt mit seinem Clearly imply Remix wieder einmal seinen Killerinstinkt unter Beweis. Das hier ist eine Primetime Bombe vom allerfeinsten.
