- Dance is the alias of Sam Purcell. Born and based in the suburbs of South London, he works as a visual designer, producer and DJ.Dance’s obsession is with anxiety and relief. Cavernous virtual spaces and dub-indebted bass frame his productions and sets, slipping between inundation and paranoia, serenity and immersion. His record label, Blank Mind, extends this preoccupation.
