Biografía
- Producer, singer/songwriter, DJ, and Audio Engineer. I make music for film, TV, radio, video games, and any type of corporate theme songs. I also produce many different artists, involving many genres.Daniel Cantisani began his music carreer at the age of 14, singing, playing piano, synths and guitar till late hours in local bars and clubs. Cantisani moved to the US and graduated an honor student as an Audio Engineer from Full Sail University. In 2004, he started DJing at some of the best clubs and parties in Mexico and USA. His versatility as an artist and ability to capture the audience’s attention, helped his reputation as a DJ rise in just a few years. As a producer, for 16 years Canti has been experimenting with all kinds of genres. From classical, jazz, funk, and rock, to hip-hop, nu disco and all kinds of electronic. Through Deaf Co, his own music production company, Daniel has composed and recorded original music for international films, theatre, brands, corporations, TV shows and ads, radio jingles, and websites around the world. He has also been working as a remixer for big brands in the fashion industry for over 8 years. Through out his carreer, “Canti” has been known by several aliases such as the “Royal Dance” project (His Techno/House project with his longtime friend Nikko Gibler), and “Icarus Fly”, his newest and most promising project with his friend and partner Frederik Mooij. Icarus Fly is charting on Beatport’s top 20, and recently charted #2 on Track It Down’s Top 10, and now being supported, remixed, and played by top Electro House DJ’s such as Canada’s own Adam K, various BBC One Radio hosts, and others. Starting 2013, he joined one of Mexico’s most promising bands known as “Miami Mami”, producing their second album, and leading the band through new paths, as of 2014 we’ll hear their new sound, and start to see Miami Mami’s true potential. Under his own name, “Daniel Cantisani” keeps composing and producing all kinds of music including Orginal Film Scores, Rock, Indie, Pop, Deep House and Electro. As a DJ Daniel has worked with worldwide brands such as Sony, British American Tobbaco, Philip Morris, Moet & Chandon, Jaggermeister, Absolut, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Hugo Boss, Porsche, Zegna, Fashion TV, Fashion Week, and the list goes on. Also, having the priviledge of being the Resident DJ for Gunter Sachs’ exclusive club “Dracula”, in St Moritz, Switzerland. Considered one of the best DJs and music producers in Mexico, Cantisani has been the “weapon of choice” for every major event in the country and many festivals around the world, having the oportunity to share stage with some of the biggest names in the industry including Jamiroquai, Will.I.Am (from Black Eyed Peas), Phoenix, Far East Movement, Moby, Imagine Dragons, Underworld, Kaskade, LMFAO, Armin Van Buuren, Axwell, Steve Angello, Avicci, Markus Schulz, Deadmau5, Infected Mushroom, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Tiesto, Pete Tong, Pig&Dan, Dimitri From Paris, Nic Fanciulli, M.A.N.D.Y., Nico Jaar, Dada Life, Chuckie, Afrojack, Bingo Players, TJR, and many others.̸Canti is currently signed with: PetFood (LA), Hotbox Digital (Canada), Unike Muzik (NYC), Burn The Fire (LA), Loudroom Recordings (Mexico), BugEyed Records (Canada), Dieb Audio (Greece), Snap Music (LA), Mile End Records (Montreal), Olaris Records (NYC), Tenampa (Mexico), Medrado Music (Brazil), Cherry Drop Records (Scotland), Autentik Dystrikt (Playa Del Carmen), West Label (Argentina), and Deaf Co.
