Since an early age Dan has had a thirst for good music, and as a young teenager developed a connection with electronic music, Dan began collecting vinyl and he quickly became passionate about House and Techno. A purist when it comes to DJing having learnt to DJ with vinyl in the 90's, turntableism is a style of djing that is still evident in Dan’s sets today. In 2004 Dan really grew as a DJ cutting his teeth running a local club night Soulshaker filling venues across the South of England before progressing to the capital playing sets at the now legendary “The Cross”, Pasha, London, Egg, London etc Dan learnt valuable lessons in how to interact with the dance floor and feed off of the energy to improve his sets, developing his style of mixing and the experience as a whole with the ethos of “aim for the hips” In 2008 Dan set off for a season in Ibiza and played set’s at Savannahs on the sun set strip and a host of after hours villa parties, building a reputation for not only his skill as a DJ and his music but a genuine love and passion for what he was doing… Fast forward a decade and he is now embedded in the underground electronic dance music scene, Dan has grown his name in the industry and continues to be booked to play in London where he now lives. In the studio he is devoted in his approach to the music produces. Focused on growing and evolving - tirelessly honing his craft…. his sound is percussive and organic, using outboard gear and analogue synths. Having started out his relationship with house and techno in the DJ booth… He’s now at an embryotic stage in his creativity where his experience and understanding of the music is shaping and defining his sound. Always aiming to be as creative as possibel and write music without restriction or confines of preconceived genre. Its important for Dan to be leaving a footprint and make a genuine contribution to the music and scene he loves so much but also music that transcends time and genre. Dan never stands still and that’s evident in his commitment as a producer having signed his first 3 track Ep to London based Picknik Recordings, released in early 2020. Dan continues to gain traction with several signings set for release in 2021
