- Been playing for over 10 years now and have been blessed with the opportunity to play with some of the most talented individuals around.... My passion is soulful, underground house but don't discriminate...My passion for music goes way back before my teens but it wasn't until 2001 that I got the opportunity to play records to a crowd. Living in Leeds (the best city for dance music outside of London) I was introduced to such an array of talented people, from DJ's, promoters, producers & clubbers. For anyone who has passed through this fine city you'll know what I'm talking about. I was fortunate enough to become a resident of Speed Queen, one of the greatest club nights in the UK. There was no other club night like it at the time. From here I played all of the clubs & bars that Leeds and the surrounding areas had to offer. I hosted 2 parties..."Open Wide" which collaborated with singers & musicians to create a differnet vibe to the norm. The other pary "Keep It Real" was created as an avenue to play the music that myself & co-promoter Ricci G wanted to play, outside of the contraints of the the scene. As always, all parties were free. It's always about playing music to people who want to have adamn good night out!! As well as the talent that thrives in Leeds, I've been fortunate enough to play with the likes of: Silicone Soul, Jazzy B, DJ Disciple, Justin Drake, D'Zeta n Basile, Alister Whitehead, Graeme Park, Kevin Grifiths, Christian Viviano, Nico De Ceglia, Tom Thorpe, Lucy Locket, Dan Tait, Filthy Rich, Daley Padley, Carlo Gambino and many more.... Now based in London, my main passion is for all things soulful & underground... My main influences are Kerri Chandler, Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, DJ Spinna, MLIU, Brawther, DJ Spen, Sean McCabe, Sy Sez, Booker T, Neil Pierce and the entire Southport Crew..... I have a new night starting on 30th Sept....a free party for all that want to listen to good quality house music!! All I want is the chance to play music to those that love & appreciate it.
