Biografía
- Between concept and entertainment.“ We talk about “funkitude”, of a way of living life free from inhibitions, full of creativity by people in perfect contact with themselves and independent, aspects that originate in the African culture..." When he was a child his parents made him listen very different kinds of music, from songwriting to rockʼnʼroll to electronic, falling in love with music. At 11 years old he started to research and studying that variety of musical genres, listening also a lot of radio and making homemade music tapes. At 13 he starts to study and play drum. Itʼs for that reason that today in a Danny Viceʼ set you can hear an eclectic mix between deep house music, world and disco. In 2008, when he was 18, he ranks second to the Italian national NotteInsonne DJ contest and nominated as Best Italian Young DJ Producer on TREND Magazine, then charted in 2011 on DJ MAG with his 1st release with the Italian techno music pioneer Francesco Farfaʼs Audio Esperanto label. Graduated in “Literature, Music and Show” at La Sapienza University (Rome, Italy) and graduated in 3 years of Sound Design, Audio Engineering and Audio Post Production for TV-SPOT at the Italian Institute of Music Technologies (Rome, Italy) he played in many of Rome and Italyʼs clubs as Piper, Rashomom, Qube, Akab, etc... For 3 years he was guest dj and jingle maker on Pioneer DJ Radioʼs Farfasound Radioshow, he won and played Sensation Italy (remixing Riva Starr ft. DJ Sneak “In Da House Tonight”) and Ministry of Sound London, sharing turntables with Popof, Bill Patrick and My Favorite Robot @ Hot Circle Festival in Tunisia.
