After working locally as a guitarist for 10 years, he moved on to electronic music production in the summer of 2009. His sound has evolved to include a range of genres, but his current work focuses on a heavy and groove-centered tech-house style. Over the 2 years since the inception of the Dark & Stormy project, Moradito has racked up an impressive list of accolades. In that short time, Dark & Stormy has been featured in nearly 50 blogs (including a number of top ranking blogs and local publications such as Gottadancedirty.com), made a number of notable live appearances (including dates all over the north east), and he's currently planning a west coast tour for some time this year. The end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 will mean even more big things including plenty of new releases and 2 full eps.
