- David Perkins aka 'Blackmode' was born in Dublin, Ireland. Since his early years he developed a love for music. Electronic Dance Music became his passion during his teenage years and David began djing & producing. It was not long before David began hos..David Perkins aka 'Blackmode' was born in Dublin, Ireland. Since his early years he developed a love for music. Electronic Dance Music became his passion during his teenage years and David began djing & producing. It was not long before David began hosting his own radio show on Kiss FM Dublin and began to play sets at various clubs throughout Dublin. Over the years David has played sets and held residencies in all of Ireland’s top clubs, including Temple Theatre, Tripod, Think Tank, Wax, Radio City, Marquee, The Undergound and Life Festival.
